In collaboration with the Australian Federation for AIDS Organisations (AFAO) and the African and Black Diaspora Global Network on HIV/ AIDS (ABDGN), CEH hosted the African Diaspora Networking Zone at the International AIDS Conference held in Melbourne in July 2014.
The Networking Zone was a hub of activity with oral abstract presentations, entertainment from local African musicians, group discussions and network meetings.
With a baobab tree as our centrepiece and West African print fabrics covering the walls, the zone attracted thousands of people who stopped by for a chat, to relax on our couches, to pick up resources and to learn more about African Diaspora communities, CEH, AFAO and ABDGN.
