In 2013, the Health Literacy Development Course was delivered twice – first as a pilot to staff at North Richmond Community Health and second to 20 participants from 10 organisations primarily from the western metropolitan region of Melbourne.
Participants in the second group were allocated an advisor from CEH to support the implementation of health literacy projects within their organisations between each of the training modules.
The course was a huge success and will be run in the years to come.
